Maintenance Technician
Location: Florence, KY
Onsite Flexibility: Onsite
Contract Details
Position Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 5 months
Pay Rate: $30.00-$32.00 / Hour (USD)
Shift / Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; some emergency overtime may be available
Travel Requirements: Candidate will be traveling to different sites within a 30-70 mile radius

Job Summary
As a Mobile Technician , you will perform repairs and tend to several buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and ground requests. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.
Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
Conduct building inspections.
Perform general building maintenance.
Perform light plumbing.
Perform light electrical work.

Preferred Skills Commercial HVAC experience
Any advanced maintenance skills
iOS experience preferred
Education Requirements High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required; trade school preferred
In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered
Universal License required
Valid Driver's License required
Required Experience 5 years of general maintenance experience
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-7 years of job-related experience
Work Environment / Physical Requirements Candidate will be traveling to different sites within a 30-70 mile radius performing preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance
Candidate must live within a 30-mile radius of the Northern KY / Ohio work location
Independent work environment
Must meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
Background package: Safety-specific background check with drug screen and MVR required
Emergency overtime may be available
