Job SummaryPerform preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the facility. Promote Family Style Service through actions and positive attitude.How You Will Create the ExtraordinaryProvide superior guest service, positively affect interactions with guests and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities on property and the property itself. Perform maintenance with guidance from supervisor.Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts with instructions provided by a supervisor.Basic Knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators. Perform routine maintenance on the systems with instruction from supervisory personnel.Ability to perform basic painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property with guidance from supervisory personnel.Follow outline of preventative maintenance as scheduled.Assist in maintaining a spotless casino by disposing of any cups, glasses, bottles, or other items left on the floor by guests. Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed.Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same.Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts and work locations may change.Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.What You Will NeedWHAT YOU WILL NEEDMust be 21 years of age or olderProficient in English verbal and writtenFlexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to obtain and maintain a 1055 gaming license.Must possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.Two years of maintenance experience is preferred.Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to push and pull up to 250 poundsAbility to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, and up to 250 pounds with assistance.Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitivelySafely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipmentAscend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended periodMust be able to work from a standing or sitting position and/or walking motion for extended periodAbility to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environmentJob InfoJob Identification 86741Job Category Facilities ManagementJob Schedule Full timeLocations Harrah's Pompano Beach (On-site)
