Job description
Maintenance Technician
Troubleshoot and maintain all machines in FMT Unit 2 of company Tire Plant. Perform planned maintenance and calibrations on machines monthly. Troubleshoot PLC systems and drives on all machines plantwide. Troubleshoot Hydraulic HPU's and proportional valve packs in the curing department. Troubleshoot Steam valves and plumbing on all machines in the curing department. PM and troubleshoot all Pneumatic systems and valve packs on all machines. Perform maintenance and troubleshoot all conveyor systems plantwide. Troubleshoot all electrical systems on every machine plantwide up to 600V. Use and troubleshoot Ladder Logic on a daily basis. PM and troubleshoot all KUKA and Fanuc Robots plantwide. Perform Fabrication projects and TIG or Stick weld all different types of metals. Conduct daily safety meeting with all employees in FMT. Keep a clean and organized safe working area for quick response to calls. Document and create work orders on our EZ-HEIMS work order system. Build and upgrade electrical cabinets on new machines and production machines. Always use and practice proper PPE usage while in the plant. Perform LOTO on all machines depending on the situation. Perform planned maintenance on Dry Ice cleaner systems. Troubleshoot and maintain overhead crane systems plantwide. Machine and Fabricate parts for machines in the plant using a Lathe, Bandsaw, Drill Press, Welders, Belt sanders, and handheld power tools.
