Maintenance Technician I & II
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician I/II is responsible for supporting maintenance operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment. This role is ideal for candidates ranging from entry-level to mid-level experience, with responsibilities increasing based on skill level and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including motors, conveyors, gearboxes, belts, and bearings
Assist with or independently diagnose basic electrical issues depending on experience level
Support equipment setup, changeovers, and operational adjustments
Read and interpret work instructions, manuals, and basic schematics
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs
Assist with equipment installations and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications 1-5+ years of maintenance or related experience
Basic to intermediate mechanical troubleshooting skills
Basic electrical knowledge preferred
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus
Ability to use hand and power tools
Willingness to learn and take direction
Ability to work independently (Level II) or as part of a team (Level I)
