Maintenance Technician II – Full-Time
Tuesday–Saturday | 9:30 AM–6:00 PM | $24/hour

Monarch Landing is looking for a hospitality-minded Maintenance Technician II to join our team. In this role, you'll help keep our community, equipment, and systems safe, functional, and well-maintained for our residents and team members.
What You'll Do
Perform routine and emergency repairs, including minor electrical repairs, plumbing, light fixtures and bulbs, appliances, medical equipment, doors, locks, and other building-related needs.
Assist with servicing and maintaining HVAC systems.
Respond promptly to emergency calls involving system or equipment failures.
Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, equipment, and vehicles.
Assist with snow removal and other seasonal maintenance needs.
Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical schooling or at least one year of experience in residential maintenance, apartment maintenance, commercial building maintenance, construction, or a related field.
HVAC experience preferred.
Valid Illinois driver's license with a good driving record.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
A customer-service mindset and willingness to interact professionally with residents, families, guests, and team members.
