Job Description
What You'll Do & Learn:
The Maintenance Technician Intern will receive hands-on training in topics such as motors, electrical controls, pneumatics, food safety, OSHA safety requirements, and troubleshooting. In addition, you'll be responsible for:
* Working with the maintenance team to gain a fundamental understanding of the following systems: electrical (not 460V), pneumatic, mechanical, motors, gear boxes, and drives
* Learning diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
* Understanding the Lock Out Tag Out process and control of hazardous energy
* Working with Maintenance Software to input time spent on repairs and to issue repair parts
* Supporting Global Food Safety initiatives
Qualifications
We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, trainable, and thrives when solving problems. Ideally you will be pursuing an associate degree in industrial or manufacturing mechanics or a related degree. In addition, Internship Applicants must:
* Have a 2.8 cumulative GPA or higher
* A good working knowledge of MS Office and Windows applications
* Above average organizational skills
* Be able to make decisions independently
This position will require you to work onsite at our headquarters in Monroe, WI.

Relocation/Housing - $1,000.00 to assist with housing costs for students relocating/coming from more than 50 miles away to their work site.
