Maintenance Technician - Level 1
Location: Iron Station, NC
Onsite Flexibility: Onsite
Contract Details
Position Type: Contract (potential to convert to permanent)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate: $22.00-$23.00 / Hour (USD)
Shift / Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off - 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Summary
This role is an industrial maintenance position supporting a facility in Iron Station, NC. The candidate will work mostly independently, monitoring machinery, controls, and sensors, reporting issues, and assisting with basic machinery changeouts or fixes as needed.
Key Responsibilities Monitoring machinery, controls, and sensors
Reporting issues as they arise
May assist in basic machinery changeouts or fixes
Required Skills Good verbal and written communication skills
Reliable and dependable work ethic
General maintenance skills
Basic computer skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
Preferred Skills Experience working in an industrial environment
Any applicable maintenance licenses or certifications (a plus - none required)
Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required
Required Experience 1-2 years of relevant experience
Work Environment / Physical Requirements Industrial maintenance facility environment
Candidate will work mostly independently
Rotating shift schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off - 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Overtime expectations apply
Background check with drug screen required (CBRE Safety Specific package)
Important Notes Interview process: 1st round phone screen; 2nd round in-person with site tour
This position has potential to convert to a permanent full-time role
