Job description
Baler Compactor Technician
As a Baler Compactor Technician you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of recycling equipment controls and other components purchased by customers. Working independently you'll ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Traveling to customer sites for installation troubleshooting repair and maintenance of recycling equipment and controls.
Researching machine issues using recycling equipment manuals technical documents internal and vendor resources.
Documenting the status of machine issues repairs and installations for both the company office and customers.
Performing preventative maintenance on customer's recycling equipment.
Providing after sales technical support and machine maintenance training to customers.
Maintaining an in depth knowledge of the recycling equipment industry and the product lines represented by the company.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma GED.
Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Organized and professional attitude.
Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic schematics ability to read and interpret drawings.
Ability and willingness to learn.
Excellent technical communication and presentation skills.
Physical fitness to meet the job requirements.
Flexibility to work varying hours.
