Maintenance Technician Vetra at St. Matthews | Louisville, KY

What You'll Do Complete apartment turns and make-ready work to prepare homes for new residents
Complete work orders and address resident maintenance requests
Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repairs
Maintain apartments, buildings, amenities, and common areas
Pick up and maintain property grounds to keep the community clean and curb-appealing
Assist with preventative maintenance and property inspections
Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
Participate in the on-call rotation
Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies when scheduled
Follow OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing, and company safety standards
What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required
Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience preferred
HVAC experience required; EPA Certification preferred
Make-ready/turn experience strongly preferred
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to walk the property, climb stairs/ladders, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Dependable and comfortable participating in a scheduled on-call rotation
