Maintenance TechnicianExpress Employment Professionals of Clarksville and Dickson are currently seeking a reliable and industrious candidate for a Maintenance Technician located in Ashland City, TN. The pay is between $18 - $30 per hour depending upon experience, and the hours are Monday - Friday from 6AM - 4:30PM and Saturdays from 6AM-12PM.Company Benefits When Hired:Dental InsuranceHealth InsurancePaid time offRetirement PlanVision InsuranceResponsibilities:Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinesForklift maintenance Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instrumentsRemoves defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists and hand and power tools; Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring complianceFabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipmentMaintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receiptConserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsProvides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requestsPrepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsQualifications:Must have 1 year previous experience in Mechanical KnowledgeConstruction background in framing is preferred but not requiredHas technical understanding and zealCapable of operating power toolsPays attention to detailAble to be flexibleMust be willing to work overtime each weekCapable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPEExpress Employment Professionals can help you find the job that is a good fit for your needs and abilities, and you'll never pay a fee for our services and support.
