Our client, a manufacturing facility in New Hope, MN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the plant's operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: New Hope, MN

Pay Rate: $30.00/hour

Position Type: 1-Year Contract-to-Hire

Shift: Monday - Friday; 3:00PM - 11:30PM

What's the Job?

Complete maintenance assignments to repair and maintain equipment efficiently and accurately.

Troubleshoot mechanical devices, electrical systems, and PLC systems to identify issues and implement solutions.

Operate shop machinery such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, and welding equipment.

Install, repair, and modify hydraulic and pneumatic equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Maintain accurate records of work orders, preventative maintenance, and inventory management.

What's Needed?

Technical School Degree or equivalent experience; completed Associate Degree preferred.

Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, and PLC troubleshooting.

Proficiency with shop machinery and hand tools, pneumatic tools, and safety equipment.

Ability to lift up to 55 pounds regularly and handle up to 250 pounds occasionally.

Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to multitask effectively.
