Plant Operator OpportunityTrueline is seeking a Plant Operator to join their team in Limerick, ME. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with mechanical know-how, a commitment to safety, and a passion for running production smoothly and efficiently. You'll play a key part in keeping operations running on time and on spec in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.What You'll Do as the Plant Operator:Oversee day-to-day operations of the asphalt plant, ensuring consistent, high-quality outputMonitor equipment performance and handle routine maintenance and minor repairsCoordinate order processing and support customer service interactions onsiteTrack and manage inventory, including fuel and other materialsIdentify and report safety concerns, hazards, or equipment issues immediatelyWork outdoors in varying weather conditions, with extended standing, lifting, and physical activitySupport plant upkeep and follow all safety procedures and operational protocolsTake on additional duties as assigned to keep operations smooth and productiveMust-Haves as the Plant Operator:At least 2 years of experience operating an asphalt or similar plantStrong mechanical skills, with ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficientlyComfortable with physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders or catwalksFlexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as neededHigh school diploma or equivalentBasic computer literacy and communication skillsMust pass a physical and drug screeningNice-To-Haves as the Plant Operator:Welding or cutting experiencePrevious customer-facing experience in a production or industrial environmentFamiliarity with preventative maintenance systemsThis Role Offers:A stable, full-time opportunity in a growing companySupportive team environment with opportunities to grow your skillsOn-the-job training and long-term career potentialTrueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
