Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: St Paul, MN
Pay Range: $33 -$36/hr + $1 night differential
Schedule: 6pm - 6am, rotating 2-2-3
What’s the Job?
Perform maintenance and/or repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment
Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Ensure all repairs are documented. Document all required information in accordance with standard operations procedures
Assist operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime
Support the installation of new equipment
What’s Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent
2 to 4 years of maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Experience on a variety of equipment including lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor control, relay control, process control and packaging equipment
Continuous improvement mindset
Able to inspect equipment, recognize potential problems, and take appropriate corrective action to prevent component failures or equipment down time
