Job Duties:
Complete maintenance requests promptly and professionally
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
Replace fixtures, outlets, switches, faucets, toilets, and disposals
Complete drywall repairs, painting, caulking, and trim work
Repair doors, locks, windows, blinds, and flooring
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, water heaters, and equipment
Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed
Maintain buildings, grounds, and common areas
Support seasonal maintenance and property improvements
Document completed work and materials used
Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Requirements: Apartment, facilities, or general maintenance experience preferred
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
Strong troubleshooting and time-management skills
Professional customer service and communication abilities
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
HVAC certification is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Able to bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather
Ability to respond promptly to maintenance emergencies

What You Will Do
As a Maintenance Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.
A Maintenance Technician helps maintain the systems that allow businesses to operate safely, efficiently, and productively. This position requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques across a variety of mechanical systems.
