Apartment Maintenance Technician

Pedcor Homes Corporation is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to help our residents and team succeed.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Completing service requests in a timely and professional manner
Performing apartment turns, punch work, and make-readies
Maintaining the appearance and safety of the community grounds
Handling general plumbing, electrical, and maintenance repairs
Assisting with pool maintenance
Keeping the maintenance shop organized and well-stocked
Responding to emergency maintenance calls as part of a shared on-call rotation
Delivering exceptional customer service to residents and prospects
What we're looking for:
Minimum of 1 year of apartment maintenance experience required
HVAC experience preferred
HVAC Certification is a plus, but not required
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional demeanor and ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Shared on-call participation required
Weekend availability required
Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required
