Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Maintenance Technician.
Maintenance Technician Job Details
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 PM-6:00 AM
Pay Rate : $33.00/hr
Location : Troy, OH
Maintenance Technician Requirements/Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required, along with a recognized craft apprenticeship or equivalent education and production maintenance experience.
At least 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial maintenance skills.
Experience with PLCs and HVAC systems.
Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
Basic understanding of variable-frequency drives VFDsVFDs, motor starters, overload protection, PLCs, and electrical circuits.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery.
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of machine and tool design, operation, repair, and maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
Knowledge of lockout/tagout LOTOLOTO procedures.
Ability to safely work at heights and around hazardous chemicals while wearing required PPE.
Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods and bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, and climb as required.
Must be reliable with regular attendance and effective communication skills.
About the Maintenance Technician Role
As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include: Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs to production equipment.
Complete scheduled maintenance during machine service periods.
Perform basic machining tasks as required.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
Read equipment manuals and work orders to complete required maintenance and service.
Diagnose equipment problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments.
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and plant facilities.
Follow established lockout/tagout procedures and properly use energy-control devices.
Perform plumbing maintenance and carpentry tasks as needed.
Safely use hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment.
Identify and report faulty equipment operation, defective materials, and unusual conditions.
Maintain clean and orderly work areas while following all safety regulations.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
