Maintenance TechnicianGrace is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician. Starting wage of $ 26.00 with growth potential to over $ 35.00! Excellent benefits, including health care, dental, 401k plan, defined contribution retirement plan and and more!The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining chemical processes, including piping, equipment and pumps. This includes both routine preventative maintenance and day to day troubleshooting of issues to ensure proper and efficient operations at a 24/7 manufacturing site. This position will report to the Maintenance Superintendent and will be located at the Tyrone Pennsylvania site. This position will work a rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.Responsibilities:Installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems at the facility.Repairing and troubleshooting chemical process equipment.Removing idle chemical process pipes.Utilize non-routine, setup, hot work, lockout tagout, and confined space permits regularly.Other site related repair and maintenance tasksPhysical Requirements and Environment:Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft. Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respiratorRequired Qualifications:Proven experience working from heights2+ years experience in a maintenance trade positionNearest Major Market: Altoona Nearest Secondary Market: Johnstown
