Maintenance Technician
Keep Equipment Running and Production Moving
Newberry Tanks & Equipment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in West Memphis, AR. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations. What You'll Do
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, tools, and facility systems.
Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
Inspect equipment and identify potential problems before they impact production.
Install, adjust, and maintain machinery and production equipment.
Support facility maintenance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe, organized work environment.
What We're Looking For
Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Dependable attendance and strong follow-through.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
Technical training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechatronics, or a related field.
Welding, fabrication, or machine repair experience.
Forklift, boom lift, or scissor lift operating experience.
Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and lockout/tagout procedures.
High School Diploma or GED.
English/Spanish bilingual a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and work throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
