Job description
Maintenance Technician
This role supports the Operations Maintenance team by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging, distribution, and material handling equipment within a high-volume facility at one of the largest companies in the United States.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance routines on material handling equipment and conveyer systems.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and related components.
Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, including conveyor systems and associated controls.
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
Support pneumatic systems throughout the building by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing components as needed.
Essential Skills
2 years of Industrial Maintenance experience (preferred conveyor maintenance experience).
At least 1 year of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
At least 1 year of knowledge and hands-on experience with electrical and electronic principles.
Ability to lift up to 49–50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, and reaching above the head.

This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $42.60/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
