Required Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications: •\tTechnical certification, associate degree, or formal trade training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical disciplines. •\tExperience with PLC troubleshooting, automation systems, or CNC equipment. •\tFamiliarity with preventive and predictive maintenance programs. •\tPrior experience in a high-volume manufacturing or warehouse operation. •\tKnowledge of CMMS systems for tracking maintenance activities and parts inventory. •\tStrong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with Operations and Engineering teams. Core Competencies: •\tAdvanced mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting •\tPLC and automation diagnostics and support •\tEquipment reliability and preventive/predictive maintenance leadership •\tRoot cause analysis and corrective action implementation •\tSafety leadership, including lockout/tagout and risk mitigation •\tTechnical mentoring and knowledge sharing with junior technicians •\tStrong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure •\tCross-functional collaboration with Operations, Engineering, and EHS •\tContinuous improvement and lean maintenance practices •\tClear communication and documentation of maintenance activities
Job Description
Openings: lots of overtime available 1st shift (5am-1pm) 2nd shift (1pm-9pm) Day-to-Day Responsibilities: A production line stops mid-run → you’re called over to diagnose the issue Key Responsibilities: •\tPerform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. •\tTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement timely, effective repairs. •\tRespond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production support requests to maintain operational continuity. •\tConduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective or improvement actions. •\tDocument maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage in maintenance logs or systems. •\tSupport equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements in collaboration with Operations and Engineering. •\tFollow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe work environment. •\tAssist with maintaining spare parts inventory and coordinating with vendors as needed. •\tParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency. •\tCommunicate equipment status, risks, and repair timelines clearly to supervisors and production teams
