Job description
Maintenance Technicians
We are seeking experienced and dependable Maintenance Technicians for placement at various apartment communities throughout Long Beach, California. Ideal candidates have strong repair skills, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable working independently at residential properties.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repair tasks in occupied and vacant apartment units
Troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues
Complete service requests/work orders in a timely and professional manner
Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and general repairs
Maintain grounds and common areas as needed
Follow safety policies and comply with property management guidelines
Communicate effectively with residents, property staff, and the agency coordinator
Requirements
Prior apartment maintenance or residential repair experience (1+ years preferred)
General understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances
Basic hand tools required; power tools preferred
Ability to pass background and/or drug screening if required by property
Reliable transportation to travel between assigned locations
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
Strong communication and customer service skills
EPA Universal/HVAC certification a plus
