The City of Bloomington is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Worker Intern to learn to and perform mechanical work in the complete repair, maintenance, and overhaul of automotive equipment, trucks, and other light and heavy equipment. Qualified applicants must be enrolled in a Diesel, Equipment, or Automotive program at a Vocational school. The work week will consist of attending school and performing mechanical work, as class allows, on the City's fleet. Our shop hours are 9:30 AM through 5:30 PM. We are flexible with scheduling work hours. The Intern will be paid for all hours worked at the city. NOTE: City of Bloomington supplies all the tools and equipment needed for the job.
