Maintenance WorkerPASS CHRISTIAN PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICTMSIS COURSE/WORK CODE(S) - Responsible for doing maintenance on buildings and equipment in the district.Required Endorsement(s): NoneQualificationsDemonstrate aptitude and skills necessary to perform maintenance and repairs to buildings and equipment.Reports ToSupervisor Plants (Buildings) and Security and/or Designee.Job GoalTo work to provide a safe and attractive environment for the school district's staff and students.Performance Responsibilities1. Performs all of the school districts' electrical repairs and installations when assigned.2. Performs all of the school districts' carpentry repairs and construction when assigned.3. Performs all of the school districts' travel trade repairs and construction when assigned.4. Performs all of the school districts' plumbing repairs and installations when assigned.5. Repairs and maintains all of the school districts' maintenance equipment when assigned.6. Constructs cabinets and shelving as required when assigned.7. Performs miscellaneous painting as required when assigned.8. Normal maintenance of the water and sewage treatment plant at the Delisle Elementary School, which includes lubrication, adjusting, and replacement of fuses.9. Performs other such duties and responsibilities as the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Designee may assign from time to time.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
