## Major Projects - Project SchedulerApply: Shippingport, Pennsylvania: Perry, Ohio: Oak Harbor, Ohio: Full time: Posted Today: If you have what it takes to become part of the Vistra family and would like to start a promising career with a global leader, take a look at the exciting employment opportunities that are currently available and apply online.**Job Summary**Responsible for developing, maintaining and updating multi-discipline project schedules for both on-line and/or outage implementation windows in support of the Long-Range Plan. Responsible for archiving project schedules after completion of the project. Scheduling duties will include scoping of scheduled work, scheduling of equipment, materials and onsite/offsite resources, and resource leveling in the most efficient and cost-effective manner within assigned organizations and systems.**Job Description****Key Accountabilities** * Ensure schedules for on-line and/or outages are developed in accordance with fleet/station requirements and standards.* Interface with other work groups/vendors (onsite and offsite) to identify and collect necessary information in support of schedule development and quality.* Provide scheduling support for site work groups, site organization or vendors that have activities that need to be coordinated through and integrated into the project schedule.* Coordinate and schedule activities to minimize equipment/system out of service time and/or Technical Specification Action Conditions and to minimize plant risk.* Communicates schedule issues/conflicts promptly to the Site Manager of Projects and the Project Manager.* Attends project stakeholder meetings and reports out on the schedule.* Assist in the development and updating of the Project Health Reports (PHRs) in preparation for the Project Review Committee (PRC) meetings. **Education, Experience & Skill Requirements** **Skills and Knowledge*** Proficient in P6, Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools.* General understanding of nuclear operation, practices and processes.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the project team. **Education*** Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field (preferred) or High School Diploma or equivalent. **On-the-job Experience*** 5-10 years of power plant scheduling experience. **Key Metrics*** Safety Excellence* Teamwork* Operational Excellence* Schedule Compliance* Process Optimization / Continuous Improvement* Results Orientation* Financial Optimization**Job Family**Plant Operations**Company**Vistra Nuclear Operations Company**Locations**Shippingport, PennsylvaniaPennsylvania### *We are a company of people committed to: Exceeding Customer Expectations, Great People, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit and Effective Communication.
