Job description
Hospice volunteers are compassionate individuals who bring comfort, connection, and emotional support to patients facing life-limiting illnesses. They offer personal companionship that complements the care provided by our clinical team.
There is no single definition of a hospice volunteer—some join to give back to their community, while others want to share a special talent or simply spend meaningful time with someone in need.
Ways you can make a difference:
Chatting, reminiscing, and sharing stories
Reading books, news, or letters aloud
Playing games, cards, or musical instruments
Watching a favorite TV show together
Providing quiet companionship or holding a hand
Giving family caregivers a short break to run errands or rest
