Job description
The work
You will help develop and evaluate psychiatric materials used to train AI systems. The work combines clinical expertise, Malay cultural knowledge, bilingual writing, and careful review of sensitive mental health content.
Develop complex psychiatric case studies based on realistic and culturally nuanced situations.
Conduct psychological assessments and create expert annotations using Malay psychiatric practices.
Write precise clinical documentation and analyses in Malay and English.
Review and critique AI evaluation methods used in mental health settings.
Give feedback on psychiatric information exchange and bilingual communication frameworks.
Use ethical judgment, confidentiality, and clinical best practices when handling sensitive case content.
Work with interdisciplinary AI project teams and contribute psychiatric expertise to model development.
What it pays and takes
This is a remote, part-time contractor role for candidates who can work in the countries listed for the project. The work requires at least 20 hours per week and strong clinical experience in Malay settings.
Pay: $100-$200 per hour.
Hours: 20 or more hours per week.
Languages: Native Malay and advanced written and spoken English.
Education: MD, MBBS, or an equivalent medical degree.
Credentials: Completed psychiatry residency and a valid medical license.
Experience: Psychiatric assessment, treatment planning, and case documentation in Malay clinical settings.
Skills: Cultural sensitivity, ethical reasoning, and evaluation of complex mental health scenarios.
Helpful background: Psychiatric teaching materials or case studies, research, Malay and Western psychiatric frameworks, digital health projects, or analytical evaluation methods.
