Description
We are seeking a Full-Time Mammography Technologist (32–40 hours/week) to join our modern outpatient radiology facility in Lansdowne, VA. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment with state-of-the-art imaging technology.
The ideal candidate will be ARRT (R)(M) certified with at least 1–2 years of recent mammography experience and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities include:
Perform and evaluate mammography, DEXA, and X-ray examinations
Ensure compliance with all quality control and quality assurance standards in accordance with state, federal, and local regulations
Deliver exceptional patient care through clear communication, compassion, and professionalism
Qualifications:
ARRT (R)(M) certification required
Minimum of 1–2 years of recent mammography experience
Demonstrated proficiency in screening and diagnostic mammography and X-ray equipment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies, and assist patients as needed
Breast biopsy experience, including stereotactic procedures, is preferred but not required
