Description Mammography Technologist in Mammography Unit at Queen of the Valley Medical Center. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour Day Shifts. Under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse, and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level. Acts in compliance with Federal MQSA, State, and Joint Commission standards. Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis. Required Qualifications: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire. National Registered Technologist - Mammography upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year experience in Mammography. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
