Job description
Role Overview:
This position is for a Full-Time Mammography Technologist – RT (M) responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in breast health centers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients and equipment for mammography procedures, including screening, diagnostic, contrast-enhanced mammography, stereotactic, and biopsy procedures.
Perform imaging studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and rotating site assignments such as cancer centers, medical buildings, and mobile units.
Qualifications & Skills:
Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency.
Registered in Radiologic Technology (R.T. (R)(M)) and certified in RT (M).
Licenses such as IEMA (excluding MRI) and certifications like RTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES are required.
Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience, CPR, and intravenous therapy certification.
