Role Description
Managers and General Managers at Minsky’s Pizza oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure excellent guest experiences and efficient service. This full-time, on-site role in Overland Park, KS includes managing staff schedules, supervising team members, and supporting hiring, training, and performance feedback. Responsibilities involve monitoring food quality and safety, coordinating kitchen and front-of-house activities, and maintaining cleanliness and health code compliance. Managers also handle cash management, inventory control, and ordering to support cost-effective operations. The role includes engaging with guests, resolving concerns, and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with Minsky’s brand standards.
Qualifications
Experience in restaurant or hospitality management, including supervising teams and overseeing daily operations.
Skills in customer service, conflict resolution, and guest relationship management to ensure a welcoming, high-quality dining experience.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and basic kitchen operations to maintain product quality and compliance.
Competence in scheduling, cash handling, and inventory management to support efficient and profitable store performance.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to coach and motivate diverse team members.
Ability to work on-site, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in pizza, casual dining, or bar service environments is beneficial; management experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality or business is a plus.
