Job Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Director of the Upper Hudson Library
System (UHLS), this position manages and leads the Automation Services Department,
providing network management, website support, and Integrated Library System (ILS)
administration to our 29 member libraries. The incumbent is responsible for building
relationships with our member libraries and the ideal candidate will be able to capably manage
long-range projects and same-day issues as they arise. The Manager works closely with
member library staff, vendors, and consultants to keep circulation systems, patron-facing
discovery tools, staff hardware, and 20+ hosted websites running reliably.
