n nHow you'll make an impact in this role
nnnSupervise case management and clerical staff, managing daily schedules, workload distribution, and resource contracting to ensure efficient patient care.
n
nnCommunicate with administration and medical staff regarding admission appropriateness, length of stay, discharge planning, and complex case issues.
n
nnServe as a subject matter expert on utilization criteria, appeals, reviews, and case management system documentation.
n
nnCover units directly as needed while overseeing post-acute tracking, disease management programs, and daily operational priorities.
n
n nWhat minimum requirements you'll need
nLicensure / Certification / Registration:
nnnCase Manager credentialed from the American Case Management Association (ACMA) preferred.
n
nnCase Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) preferred.
n
nnRegistered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing preferred.
n
nnSocial Worker credentialed from the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling preferred.
n
n nEducation:
nnHigh school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
n nWork Experience:
nnn3 years of experience required.
n
nn1 year of leadership or management experience required.
n
nnat least one year of leadership
n
nnRN licensure or MSW;LCSW preferred
n
nnprior case management experience
n
