As a Compounding Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Compounding department in the performance of daily operations, achieving business results and strategic planning of the department's goals.What You'll Be Doing:Lead daily compounding operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost goals.Work with Production and project teams to ensure batches, trials, and schedules are completed on time.Hire, train, coach, and develop employees while promoting engagement and retention.Monitor performance and take action to improve results.Drive continuous improvement in processes, equipment, efficiency, and quality.Manage department budgets and control labor, inventory, scrap, and downtime costs.Track and improve key metrics such as safety, quality, productivity, morale, and cost.Lead investigations of safety, quality, and operational issues and implement corrective actions.Partner with Quality, Engineering, HR, and Operations teams to support business goals.Complete performance reviews, SOPs, budgets, and other required documentation.What You Need:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related technical field is required. In lieu of degree a minimum of 10 years previous experience in a Compounding role is required.Three to five years progressive experience in a chemical compounding environment, preferably in cosmetics or pharmaceutical.Minimum of five years previous supervisory experience.Be part of something big because at kdc/one Groveport Better Starts Here.
