Job description
As a member of the Morongo Basin Healthcare District (MBHD) team your mission is to improve the health and wellness of the communities we serve. You will be required to interact with patients, the public, co-workers and management in fulfilling your mission. Essential skills for this position include attention to detail, knowledge of current accounting principles, accuracy of work, being able to effectively manage staff, and the ability to analyze large subsets of data within excel.
In your role as Finance Manager, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer. Your responsibilities will include assisting CFO with overall financial operations of the District and Clinics and providing support for the finance department in order to further the strategic goals of MBHD.

You will be occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Education and Experience required
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
Masters or CPA preferred
Minimum of six years previous finance experience , preferably in healthcare
Minimum of 3 years experience in a management role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
