This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and collaboration with variousdepartments to ensure optimal productivity, efficiency, and compliance with specifications, schedules, andprocedures. **What you will do...**• Leadership and Management: Directs, trains, and manages the work activities of Warehouse employees.Provides performance feedback, conducts periodic reviews, and implements performance improvement plans.Collaborates with site leaders in recruitment, hiring, promotion, transfer, pay, counseling, and discipline ofwarehouse employees. Conducts regular work team meetings for all shifts. Provides performance feedbackand addresses work-related problems. Attends management meetings.• Strategic Planning: Develops and promotes training activities related to product quality and reliability.Ensures employees adhere to manufacturing, equipment, and safety procedures to consistently produce high-quality results.• Continuous Improvement: Fosters a culture of continuous improvement. Sets goals, communicatesperformance standards, and mentors staff to optimize performance and personal growth. Builds• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partners with external and internal customers, suppliers, andinterdisciplinary teams. Provides technical assistance andadvancements in diversification, competitive edge, and process improvement.• Operational Optimization:Identifiesoptimizes processes for receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, and shipping of products.• Customer and Shipment Management: Oversees direct customer and warehouse shipments. Coordinatesoutside warehouse shipments to ensureand accurate•Investigates and resolves customer shortage claims and freight claims in collaboration with the Director ofLogistics.• Inventory Control• System Maintenance: Maintains the efficacy of the bar-coding system through training, audits, andprogramming. Manages the product locator system and corrects discrepancies.•Ensures optimum utilizationappropriate.• Safety and Compliance: Promotes safety and ensures operationsFDA regulations, AIB standards, OSHA, and MSDS standards. Maintains warehouse security.•Reporting and Documentation: Completes daily shift reports and maintainsrecords of transactions and labor hours. Verifies accuracy of inbound/outbound paperwork.•Performance Tracking: Documents personnel performance, investigates unfavorable variances, andimplements improvements to enhance performance.• Quality Assurance Coordination: Coordinates procedures regarding receipt of raw ingredients and packagingsupplies. Ensures products are appropriately staged.• Technical Issue Resolution: Resolves technical issues and escalates unsolved problems to the LogisticsManager.• Operational Continuity: Schedules daily shift hand-off meetings to ensure continuity between shifts.• Relationship Management: Maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers, co-workers, and vendors.• Strategic Planning: Develops and implements long-term strategies to optimize warehouse operations andachieve organizational goals.• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration andcoordination of logistics activities.• Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Identifies opportunities for process enhancements and drives initiativesto improve efficiency and effectiveness.• Managing Complex Logistics Operations: Oversees intricate logistics processes, ensuring smooth andefficient handling of inventory and shipments.• Ensuring Compliance with Regulatory Standards: Maintains adherence to industry regulations and standardsto ensure safe and compliant operations.• Navigating Challenges: Manages variations in demand to maintain optimal inventory levels and meetcustomer needs.• Addressing Supply Chain Disruptions: Responds to and mitigates disruptions in the supply chain to minimizeimpact on operations.• Adapting to Evolving Industry Standards: Stays updated with industry changes and adapts practices toremain competitive and compliant.• Fostering a Culture of Excellence and Innovation: Promotes a work environment that encourages highperformance, innovation, and continuous improvement.**Who you will work with...*** Reporting into Plant Manager**What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)**• High School Degree or GED• 5+ years experience Logistics & Planning• 3+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment• 3+ years people management experience **It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)**• Bachelor's Degree• 8+ years of Logistics and Planning Management experience**Compensation and Benefits:**The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $98,300-$135,200Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
