Job description
Role
Manager, Medical Writing for Immunology within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, leading medical writing activities for clinical documentation in the immunological disorders therapeutic area.
Responsibilities
prepare and finalize clinical documents
lead or support cross-functional medical writing teams
set project objectives
mentor junior staff
implement process improvements
ensure compliance with industry and regulatory guidelines.
Serve as a primary contact for assigned programs, representing Medical Writing in cross-departmental and industry forums.
Requirements
minimum 8 years of pharmaceutical or scientific experience, at least 6 years in medical writing, with a master's or PhD preferred
2+ years of people management experience preferred
strong communication, project management, and regulatory knowledge (e.g., ICH guidelines).
