Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Nursing Manager, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our nursing team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through continuous growth and operational excellence.
Every day, you will lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, and advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals.
To be successful in this role, you will embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions. You'll skillfully navigate challenges, ensuring individual performance and overall unit success.
Identify and participate in the establishment of Nursing and ancillary staff development programs to support the necessary skills needed to provide outstanding care to the patient population of CHI Memorial.
Participate in the establishment and annual assurance of competencies for all patient care staff and monitor on an ongoing basis.
Establish and maintain high levels of physician satisfaction for all services provided.
Participate in the development and implementation of plans for nurse recruitment and retention.
Work collaboratively with all departments to achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction.
Meet the compliance standards of various regulatory bodies which affect the provision of services, to include the Joint Commission, life safety, state, federal and other regulatory bodies.
Job Requirements
Required
Bachelors Degree and 1-3 years minimum of leadership experience, upon hire or
and 4-6 years minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline, upon hire or
Masters Other no experience, upon hire and
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire
Registered Nurse: GA, upon hire and
AHA Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
