Manager Of Accounting
Springfield Catholic Schools is seeking a full-time Manager of Accounting at Central Office. Springfield Catholic School System offers classes from Preschool through 12th grade, with a current enrollment of 1350 students. Our Mission at Springfield Catholic Schools prepares and empowers students, in an atmosphere of academic excellence, with God's help, to be sent forth as disciples of the Catholic faith and models of service. The Manager of Accounting position combines financial administration with day-to-day educational operations. Working under the direct supervision of the Director of Schools, the primary responsibilities center on core financial management, including general ledger preparation, monthly financial reporting, year-end compilation preparation, and supporting overall budgeting and forecasting. In addition to traditional corporate accounting duties, the role handles overseeing system-wide student registration along with all aspects of tuition invoicing and collections. A significant aspect of the job involves regular executive reporting, requiring monthly financial presentations to both the Finance Committee and the School Board. To succeed in this fast-paced environment, candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional time management, and the organizational ability to meet tight deadlines across a variety of accounting activities. Also, because this role serves a faith-based educational institution, candidates must be willing to adhere to and follow Catholic social teachings as dictated by the diocese. Position begins November 1, 2026 Salary range: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00.
