Manager, Pharmacy Services – OncologyLongview, TXPosition SummaryThe Manager of Pharmacy Services – Oncology is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the pharmacy department, including daily fulfillment operations, clinical operations, regulatory compliance, business operations, and committee involvement.ResponsibilitiesManage pharmacy distributive services and daily pharmacy operations.Facilitate drug utilization initiatives and integrate clinical pharmacy programs.Oversee pharmacy information systems.Advance medication safety initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance.Directly manage pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.Ensure pharmacy staff remain competent and engaged in customer service, standardized workflows, and process improvement.Provide hands-on leadership within assigned areas of oversight.Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge in accordance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree required.Experience6–8 years of technical experience preferred.2–5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.LicensureActive Pharmacist (RPh) license in the state of employment required.ScheduleTo be determined.Employment TypeFull-time.
