Expected pay for this position is $62.64 - $83.00/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a salaried position.This position will support pharmacy services at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL.POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager Retail Pharmacy is responsible for organizing and coordinating a staff of professional and technical personnel engaged in compounding and dispensing medications and other pharmaceutical supplies. This position is responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy. Ensures pharmacy and staff are compliant with both State and Federal rules and regulations pertaining to retail pharmacy which includes ensuring all requirements of third-party payors are met. Maintains medication records that pertain to retail pharmacy in order to ensure compliance.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Three years working in a retail pharmacy setting to understand and manage all aspects of services provided, as well as laws and regulatory compliance relating to retail pharmacy services. Licensure/Certification: Current Illinois State Pharmacist License. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required within 90 days of hire. Other Skills/Knowledge: Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with department staff, physicians, nurses and other various Hospital personnel on a variety of pharmaceutical topics.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Science Pharmacy or PharmD.
