ABOUT THE POSITION

The Marketing Technology team delivers the digital capabilities that connect Columbia Sportswear's brands with millions of consumers across marketing, e-commerce, and customer engagement channels. Partner with Marketing, CRM, Digital Commerce, Product, and Technology stakeholders to prioritize work and align delivery with business objectives. Guide the delivery of complex initiatives spanning customer engagement platforms, e-commerce systems, cloud services, APIs, and enterprise applications. Facilitate technical discussions across engineering disciplines, helping teams evaluate tradeoffs, dependencies, risks, and solution approaches. Partner with Architecture and Engineering leaders to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards. Champion engineering best practices, DevOps principles, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the team. Build strong relationships with technology vendors and delivery partners to drive successful implementation and support outcomes. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer-focused problem solving.

YOU ARE A collaborative leader

You are a collaborative leader who builds trust and alignment across technical and non-technical teams. A systems thinker who enjoys understanding how technologies, platforms, and processes connect to deliver customer value. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and helping teams solve complex business and technical challenges. An effective communicator who can translate technical concepts into clear business conversations. Passionate about developing people and building high‑performing engineering teams. Curious, adaptable, and energized by learning new technologies and evolving business needs.

YOU HAVE 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams in a complex technology environment

Experience supporting Marketing Technology, CRM, customer engagement, marketing automation, or related digital customer experience platforms. Strong understanding of modern application architectures, APIs, integrations, cloud services, and software delivery practices. Experience partnering with business stakeholders to deliver cross‑functional technology initiatives and drive successful outcomes. Familiarity with technologies and platforms such as Zeta, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, .NET, Node.js, Azure, AWS, or similar solutions.
