Overview
Symbiotic Services is recruiting a Software Engineering Manager tolead high-impact digital development teams for a globally recognizedconvenience and retail brand. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who candrive innovation, deliver scalable software systems, and managecross-functional development teams aligned with strategic digitaltransformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee full software developmentlifecycle for enterprise systems.
Lead complex, high-visibilitydevelopment projects with strong ROI focus.
Define and execute technicalstrategies and roadmaps in collaboration with business leaders.
Instill and enforce bestpractices for coding, architecture, testing, and documentation.
Translate business requirementsinto scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions.
Drive delivery timelines,stakeholder management, and resource planning.
Ensure operational excellence andreliability of production services.
Coach, mentor, and grow ahigh-performing team of engineers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in ComputerScience, Information Systems, or equivalent.
10+ years of experience withRESTful APIs and server-side technologies.
3+ years in a softwareengineering leadership role with direct people management.
Strong proficiency inmicroservices, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD automation.
Experience with relational andNoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred).
Proven ability to lead technicalarchitecture discussions and large-scale project delivery.
Excellent verbal and writtencommunication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with Agiledevelopment frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.
