This position offers an optional hybrid schedule (to be discussed during the interview process).
Essential Functions:
Provide final technical review on tax returns and documents for most clients
Research tax issues and develop resolutions/recommendations
Stay updated on tax law and accounting changes
Manage planning, organizing, and interfacing with clients to meet deadlines
Communicate with clients to achieve their best interests
Support and direct staff activities, ensuring quality and performance
Monitor the quality of work and staff performance
Assign and track tasks/projects to staff and supervisors
Develop staff and supervisors
Build internal and external networks to develop new business opportunities
Oversee billing, collections, and monitor WIP, aging, and write-downs
Participate in in-house CPE and training activities
Qualifications:
CPA Certification required
Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience
Proven leadership skills
Strong decision-making and initiative
Ability to work calmly under pressure
Organized, able to prioritize workload
