The Opportunity

We’re seeking aManaging Directorto help grow CCN by originating and closing new client relationships. This role is ideal for a CPA or senior accounting professional who is ready to move away from day-to-day technical execution and into asales-first, client-facing leadership role.

You’ll use your finance and accounting background to establish credibility with CFOs, Controllers, and private equity leaders - then translate their needs into consulting solutions that create real impact.

This is a revenue-generating leadership role.While your accounting expertise establishes trust, success in this position is measured by your ability to build pipeline, win new clients, and grow revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Ownership

Own new client acquisition and revenue generation across your market and beyond

Build and manage a personal pipeline from first meeting through close

Consistently convert relationships into signed consulting engagements

Forecast revenue accurately and operate with full transparency around pipeline activity

Market Development

Expand CCN’s presence by building relationships with mid-market and PE-backed companies

Identify and pursue opportunities where CCN’s consulting model delivers outsized value

Client Engagement & Advisory

Lead consultative conversations with senior finance and accounting leaders

Diagnose business and accounting challenges and scope tailored consulting solutions

Serve as a trusted advisor who simplifies complex issues and drives action

Relationship & Brand Building

Develop partnerships with private equity firms, industry networks, and finance leaders

Represent CCN through networking events, panels, and community engagement

Collaboration

Partner closely with CCN’s recruiting and leadership teams to ensure successful engagements and delighted consultants

Requirements

Qualifications

CPA licenseor7+ years of progressive accounting experience required

Experience advising, supporting, or partnering with senior finance leaders (CFOs, Controllers, PE partners)

Demonstrated ability to translate technical finance needs into business solutions

Experience in professional services, consulting, or advisory environments preferred

Strong interest in business development, relationship-building, and revenue ownership

Entrepreneurial mindset with the discipline and accountability to drive results independently

Mission-driven with a genuine desire to elevate the consulting experience for both clients and consultants
