Job description
A growing management consulting and accounting advisory firm is looking for an experienced Advisory Managing Director to join its leadership team in San Diego or San Francisco.
The firm advises high-profile pre-IPO, public and private equity-backed companies on complex financial, accounting and operational matters, including M&A, IPOs, carve-outs, spin-offs, restructuring and process improvement.
This is a senior leadership opportunity combining client delivery, relationship management, business development and team leadership, with a key role in expanding the firm's presence across the California market.
Key Responsibilities
Lead complex accounting advisory and consulting engagements
Develop and manage relationships with senior executives, investors and key stakeholders
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Contribute to practice growth, thought leadership and strategic initiatives
What We're Looking For
10+ years of accounting advisory, audit or management consulting experience
Active CPA license
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
Background within Big 4.
Demonstrated business development and client relationship experience
Experience across multiple industries; Technology, Software, Life Sciences, Healthcare or Manufacturing preferred
