Job description

Managing Director Healthcare Financial Due Diligence

Major US advisory hubs

Build a healthcare FDD practice with the scope to shape its direction, win your own mandates and assemble the team to deliver them. This is a senior opportunity for an established healthcare deal adviser who wants to turn a strong client network and sector reputation into a lasting practice within a broader advisory platform.

The opportunity

You will take ownership of healthcare FDD growth in the US. You will choose where to focus, deepen relationships with private equity and corporate clients, lead important transactions and build a team as demand develops. The role suits a commercially minded MD who enjoys both winning work and staying close to the quality of the advice delivered.

What you will do

Originate and win buy side and sell side FDD mandates from your own relationships across the healthcare market.

Define a focused sector strategy and build a repeatable pipeline with private equity sponsors, healthcare investors and corporate acquirers.

Lead high stakes diligence, including quality of earnings, working capital, net debt, cash flow and the issues that drive value and transaction terms.

Act as a trusted adviser to investment teams and senior management, presenting clear conclusions and practical recommendations.

Recruit, coach and lead a team as the practice grows, establishing a strong delivery capability.

Collaborate across the wider advisory platform where it helps clients and creates further opportunities.

What you bring

Managing Director or Partner level FDD experience with a strong personal track record in healthcare transactions.

A demonstrable history of originating fee earning diligence work and maintaining senior client relationships.

Credibility across relevant healthcare subsectors, with sound judgment on reimbursement, payer and provider economics, revenue quality and regulatory issues where applicable.

The ability to lead complex engagements and develop people while maintaining the commercial momentum of a growing practice.

Why this move

The appeal is the chance to build: a defined healthcare franchise, a client portfolio shaped by your relationships and a team you select and mentor. You will have a clear mandate to generate FDD revenue and the opportunity to make the practice your own.
