Job description
The Managing Director, Global Head of Valuations at General Atlantic will oversee the valuation strategy for a large portfolio of companies. This role involves leading a team, analyzing financial data, and presenting insights to senior leadership. The position offers a unique opportunity to work with innovative businesses and engage with a global team.
What You’ll Do
Lead the global valuation strategy for a diverse portfolio of companies.
Analyze financial data and create comprehensive valuation models.
Present insights and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Set and align pricing and fair value policies across the firm.
Interface with external auditors and valuation firms.
Identify risks and advise on portfolio monitoring and exit strategies.
What You Need
Master’s degree in Business Administration or Finance, or a Bachelor’s degree with additional experience.
Experience in private equity or alternative investment firms.
Strong skills in developing fair value estimates and performing valuations.
Proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
Knowledge of accounting standards related to valuations.
Experience in preparing exit plans and conducting scenario analysis.
