Job description
When you dream of the perfect job, do characteristics immediately come to mind like:
Working 60 hours weeks?
Doing one menial task over and over for years until you are trusted with impactful work?
Not having a real voice in the day-today business and culture of your firm?
Being expected to sacrifice life events and goals 'for the good of the firm?'
If working like that is what you are after, we have bad news for you. You will not be a good fit for Watson Mowry, PC. Although we are looking for hardworking professionals who take pride in their work and always begin any task with the satisfaction of our clients and intrinsic rewards for a job well done in mind, you will find working at Watson Mowry to have a close knit feel where your co-workers revel in your successes and support you when you need a pick me up. You will find compassion when it is warranted, and praise for exceptional work. In short, we think you will be happy here. And that's not something that can be said for all CPA firms.
Watson Mowry, PC is a growing Certified Public Accounting firm providing tax preparation, tax planning, corporate accounting, and payroll services to individuals and businesses.
We are looking for an experienced Managing Tax Accountant/CPA to join our team. This is an opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take a meaningful role in client service, tax preparation and review, and the continued growth of our firm.
If you are looking for a position where you can use your experience, build lasting client relationships, have a voice within the organization, and maintain a healthy balance between work and personal life, we would like to hear from you.
Why Watson Mowry?
We believe a successful accounting career shouldn't require sacrificing your personal life.
Our schedule is designed to provide predictability and flexibility throughout the year:
Tax season: Set work hours from January through April 15
Off-season hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Fridays off during June, July, August, November, and December
We offer:
Opportunities for professional growth and continuing education
A collaborative, challenging, and dynamic work environment
Strong leadership, communication, and feedback
Opportunities to develop meaningful, long-term client relationships
A workplace that values personal and family time as well as professional development
