Job Posting for Restaurant Position
This job posting is for a position in a restaurant that is owned by an independent franchisee and not by McDonald's USA. This franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos and food products, for example, by running the restaurant. However, this franchisee is an independent company and employer of McDonald's USA. If you are hired for the job described in this posting, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald's USA. Only the franchisee is responsible for labor issues at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling of employees. Requirements:
The maintenance person helps management achieve and maintain outstanding interior and exterior cleanliness of the restaurant and maintain restaurant equipment. As a member of the maintenance team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training you need to succeed.
The responsibilities of the maintenance person may include, among others:
Filtering fryer oil daily
Maintaining the exterior gardens
Cleaning equipment, interior and exterior windows, storage areas, and restrooms
Unloading the delivery truck twice a week
Taking out and emptying the trash compactor
Changing light bulbs
Cleaning debris from heating, ventilation, and air conditioning/exhaust units and from the roof
