Job description
Mach3 Precision MachinistMach3 is a 100% employee-owned precision machining facility in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. We specialize in large-scale machining work where your expertise directly impacts company growth—and your stock value.Essential Functions:Set up, program and operate a range of horizontal lathes and manual vertical/horizontal turret lathes.Machining large-scale precision components (including parts weighing 1,000+ lbs).Perform precision setups using blueprints, and conduct weekly preventative maintenance to ensure peak machine performance.Quality Assurance: Use manual precision tools Dial Calipers, Dial Indicators, and OD/ID Mics to verify dimensions and uphold quality standards.Material Management: Identify and label materials for traceability, including those slated for additional machining processes.Team collaboration: Flexible to operate different machinery as needed to support production goals.Requirements:Machining Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of manual lathe machining experience is required.CNC Programming Knowledge preferred for roles involving CNC machining. Training is available for candidates with the right aptitude.Large Turning Experience: Particularly with parts weighing over 1000 lbs.Lathe Experience: Beneficial to have experience with Monarch, Leblond, and Niles manual lathes.Overhead crane and Forklift Experience: (Preferred)Alloy Steel Knowledge: Good knowledge of and experience working with alloy steel materials.Blueprint and BOM Interpretation: Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOMs).Detail-Oriented: Demonstrated high levels of accuracy and attention to detail are crucial.Safety Awareness: Ability to work safely in a machine shop environment.Core Values:Do Right - Always!Customer Centric TeamworkGet it Done! - Well and TimelyDrama Free Work EnvironmentBe Smart, Grow & Learn, Stay SmartBenefits:Shift Premium: Earn an additional +$5/hour for 2nd shiftMulti Machine Shift Incentive programNew Hire Bonus: Receive up to $5,000 sign-on bonus for 2nd shift, paid in installments starting after 90 days of employment.Retirement Plan: Enjoy a 100% company-funded ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) for a secure financial future.401(k) with Match: Plan for your long-term goals with our company-matched 401(k) program.Health Insurance: Choose from a range of plans tailored to your needs.Dental and Vision Coverage: Comprehensive dental and vision plan.Paid Holidays: 6 paid holidays.
